Description
The Cannabis Use Disorder Identification Test - Revised (CUDIT-R) is a self-administered 8-item questionnaire designed to identify cannabis use disorder in individuals who have used cannabis within the past six months. It assesses harmful/hazardous cannabis use and cannabis use disorder. The CUDIT-R can be used as both a brief screening tool and a rating scale for cannabis use disorder severity. Scores of 8 or more indicate hazardous use. Scores of 12 or more suggest a possible cannabis use disorder.
Specific Instructions
Protocols may include terms and language that could be triggering to respondents. Investigators are encouraged to have resources in place to help respondents cope with triggers as needed.
