Definition
A questionnaire that assesses whether the participant has served in the military and, if so, gathers details about that service.
Purpose
The U.S. military is the largest employer of young men (and increasingly, young women) in the United States. Military service is associated with increased exposure to events that can lead to physical and psychological health problems, including traumatic brain injury (TBI), suicidal behavior, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and depression.
